Modelling
Task to complete:
This page contains photographic evidence of modelling that you have undertaken in order to fully understand your product in 3 dimensions. The evidence must be accompanied by notes on what you did, why you did it, what you found out and further recommendations.
Teacher Instruction:
Watch the following tutorial where you will be talked through what you need to do
Checkpoints:
-
Have you modelled your product in 3D?
-
Have you discussed what you did, why and what you need to do next?
-
Remember you do not have to model to full size.
-
Remember you do not have to model in the same materials it will be made from- this is sketch modelling only to look at form.
GAP Attainment:
Use the following table to understand what potential grade of work you will produce. Try to aim for the top grade!
GREEN- Grades D-E
You will have selected the main areas for development and worked out how to get them to function as intended. You will have designed an idea that will probably work. You will have evaluated the process in one overall statement rather than as an ongoing process.
AMBER- Grades B-C
You will have selected for development most of the relevant aspects and worked out how to get them to function as intended. You will have designed a fully working idea. You will have evaluated each step in detail.
PINK- Grades A*-A
You will have selected all relevant aspects and worked out how to get them to function as intended. You will have designed a fully working idea. You will have evaluated each step in detail.
